Happy Halloween Boo!
Here in Western North Carolina…well, at least in my county, the kids were out of school yesterday so S felt like she got a birthday gift from the school system…LOL. We had a good time and the cake was really tasty too so I hope that S thought her birthday was a good one. Believe me, if she didn’t, I will definately hear about it.
Thank the Goddess my migraine never arrived…thanks to Percocet! I woke up this morning with a slight “hangover” headache that 2 tylenol promptly took care of but other than that I am looking forward to taking the girls trick-or-treating. S is a little too old for t-o-ting but she has a friend staying over and we thought it would be fun for all of them to be able to t-o-t, not just E all by herself. The weather-dude is calling for rain and I hope it holds off until after we get home tonight. Come rain or moonshine, I believe we will be going regardless.
Last night when my Mom and step-Dad came over they brought a bunch of stuff from their restuarant. They are closing it down in Dec and are getting rid of a bunch of their over-stock. We now have a case of taco shells, a case of individual bags of chips, 2 HUGE boxes of basic muffin mix (each box makes something like 54 muffins), and various other items like pasta, individual cereals, stuff like that. What blew my mind was the case of taco shells. Now, I like tacos…I will even venture to say I love tacos…but a case of shells??? A case of chips I can understand…and use in Justin’s lunch. All I can say is if you know any good recipes that require the use of corn tortillas (that’s all taco shells are)…then, by all means please send them my way LOL
