It has rained for 3 days…none stop. I love rainy, gloomy, cold weather! But, the downside is that I am always kinda sleepy when it is like this outside. We have been getting the cleaning done first thing in the morning (and there isn’t that much) and then laying around the rest of the days. We have been watching TV, listening to music, playing the PS2, board games, etc… I really like days like these but I think the girls are getting tired of the weather. They can’t go outside when it is cold and rainy and they end up getting on each others nerves….and eventually on my nerves. So I have been trying to keep them busy so they don’t notice they are bored LOL
S had to read “Animal Farm” over break for English next semester. Next semester starts at the end of January so she has time to read the extra credit book “Farenheit 451″.
Eventually today we will have to brave the rain and go to the store. I hate going shopping when it is raining…all the buggys are wet. Big pain in the ass to dry them off.
I really don’t have much to report for today…just a lazy day of doing a lot of nothing!
I did watch the Saddam Hussien hanging video this morning…..terrible of me I know but things like that are like train wrecks…you don’t want to look but you do anyway. It wasn’t as bad as some had said. There was no blood and you really only saw him drop…but not stop…the stopping is where the dieing occurs. Then there was the final shot of him hanging there…a close up from about the shoulders up. That was kinda creepy but not to bad. I would put a link up so you could watch the video if you wanted but I didn’t save the link and it shouldn’t take much effort to find it if you really wanted to see it yourself. I know I know…I shouldn’t have watched it! Too late now!
