I don’t talk a lot about my faith or the things I do but I really like my daily prayer and I thought I would share. 
It is pieced together, bit by bit, from different prayers I have seen and I took the parts I like. The great thing is that it is adaptable. If I ever go to 1 patron deity, this prayer can be changed accordingly. (And I don’t think this is not far in the future…but more on this later)
I say this prayer with the prayer beads I made of jet and wooden beads. (I already have another set in mind to make.)
I raise my head in honor of the Goddess and God
Mother Earth and Father Sky
Lord and Lady of the Heavens
who rises in glory every day in my heart.
Conquer darkness and illuminate my path as I go through my day.
Illuminate my path as I go through my life.
Make me strong in spirit, and
Courageous in action,
Creative with touch, and
Honest with words
Gentle of heart, and
Wise in actions,
Conquer my fear and doubt, and
Discover my own hidden gifts,
Meet others with compassion,
Be a source of healing energies,
And face each day with hope and joy,
and strive to learn something new.
I drop my fears into your ocean
and watch them sink from sight.
I put my fears into your hands
and they are no more.
With your soothing fingers, wipe away the lines of worry and
Seed my presence with the ambition of wisdom
Surround me with calm and let me rest in the glow of peace,
as if I were encircled with the Moon’s own light.
Let my concerns and tensions drain away,
pouring as water into your Earth.
Oh Great Goddess Mother,
You are the mystery of Night,
Your radiant shine is the Day,
Infinite realms cascade within You,
Abundance is Your essence of Being,
Blessings flow from You Limitlessly,
Your Universe is harmony and tension in Balance,
Within me, You are Alive.
You are the cauldron of wisdom,
from which inspiration flows.
You are the broad Earth,
which gives birth to all life.
You are the endless night sky,
filled with numberless stars.
You are a grove of birth trees,
shining in the forest deeps.
You are the Mother of all,
and we look to you in wonder and awe.
May I appreciate our food and remember those who are hungry.
May I appreciate our family and friends and remember those who are alone.
May I appreciate our health and remember those who are sick.
May I appreciate the freedoms we have and remember those who suffer injustice and tyranny.
Mother and Father:
as I go through this day,
Keep my eyes open wide.
May I not miss beauty.
May I not miss joy.
May I not miss wonder.
Keep me awake and aware of the world.
Bless, guide, and protect me from all harm and evil
Thank you, O mighty ones, for all you have done for me.
May I not forget you, though the world turn against me.
Though I fall with my enemies rejoicing about me,
it will be your presence that will comfort me.
