My oldest daughter, S, is auditioning for the North Carolina All-State Western Regional Orchestra on January 12th in Charlotte. She is so excited…and nervous. She has had the audition piece since before Christmas break and has played it more times than I can count. She does a good job. If there was a way to put a recording of her on this blog I would do it to brag! LOL Her High School Orchestra director gave her….GAVE her…..a Artino shoulder rest. Not that it is an expensive item….not like it is a Kun shoulder rest but it is of the same style and it makes a difference in her playing. She needs new strings but that is gonna run us about $67 so we are not sure we can get them for her before the 12th.
