I made the mistake of telling my Mom that we needed to get S new strings for her violin and that we couldn’t get them now because of the cost ($65). She and Dabado came up today and took S to the local music supply store and purchased the new strings. They also brought E a brand new pair of leather ankle boots so she would get something too (and they cost as much as the strings did). I should have known better than to say anything about the strings to my Mother. I should have known that she would find it necessary to buy the strings for S. I told her she didn’t have to do it and that they weren’t absolutely necessary but Mom wouldn’t hear of it. She said that with the strings S would have the best chance possible with the audition. And I guess that is true so all is good.
I have had a headache all damn day. I think it is the weather but I am not sure and at this moment I really don’t care what is causing it, I just want it to go away. So, I am gonna go take some more tylenol and lay down for a little while. I hope you all have a wonderful evening.
