I am a Pack-rat! I keep everything. I have clothes from wayyyyyyy back, books, papers, magazines, recipes, the girls old stuffed animals, anything with any kind of value, whether it is monetary or sentimental, I keep. My closet is stuffed to the brim. So is the shed.
One of our projects in the next few weeks is to go through all of this stuff in the house and shed and get rid of everything we don’t need or use and all of the still-usable items will be donated to GoodWill. That means that the stuff we do want to really keep for sentimental reasons can get packed into plastic boxes and placed into the shed. It will practically empty the house, I am sure!
Once mine and Justin’s big closet is cleaned out and organized I am gonna make a special little sacred place for myself in there. Not the whole thing, but a little section just for me and my pagan-y stuff. A place that is quiet and out of the way that I can go every day to spend a little quality time with my religion, so to speak.
It is hard to find a quiet place in this house. Every room has some kind of background noise that I find distracting except our closet. With the door closed it is very quiet in there and I like that.
