Justin has been working some looooonnnnnnggggg ass hours here lately. He worked 2-close of Friday and Saturday and then open-close on Sunday and then opened today. He has been getting something like 4 hours of sleep. He really shouldn’t be doing that but he has to for now. There are only 2 managers in is store. Justin, and the other GM. They are in the process of training one assistant manager and hiring others but until they have all the managers they need, the long hours will continue. He works 7a-5p all this week because the other GM is on vacation. They have another manager from another store working the night shift for now so this week he will be able to get some sleep.
Also, we are going to be doing a little DIY over the next couple of months. We live in a trailer with an attached porch and it needs some outside work. It needs some inside work too but we are gonna concentrate on the outside for right now. The park manager wants us to spruce up the place and since we can’t afford to move….we will comply 
. The first thing we are going to do is replace the porch roof. Then we are removing all the slats along the sides and replacing them with lattess (along the porch and underneath).
Once it is consistently 70 degrees (end of May first of June) we are cool sealing the roof. This is the most expensive part and luckily we have the time to save for it. The porch should be relatively inexpensive to do compared to the roof.
So, our plan is to save the money, do the porch (in a couple of weeks), save the money, do the roof(end of May first of June), save the money, new underpinning, save the money, paint what needs painting. We should be done by end of June.
We can do all of the work ourselves except the cool sealing. All we need is a ladder to do the porch roof and Roni said she would hook us up. Justin really shouldn’t be on a ladder but we have no choice, we don’t have anyone who will help us. We have asked some to help us out with ladder related things and we kept getting the run-around. So, we will just do it by ourselves.
And that all the news there is….for now.
Oh…and I want a dog! But that’s not news, that’s normal! LOL
